Alcon is the industry leader in the design and manufacturing of furnace rolls. We supply the steel industry with thousands of parts for applications ranging from annealing and hardening to stress relieving and tempering.
Alcon specializes in design and manufacturing of V-roller assemblies used to process bar and tubing: walking beam furnace to charge and discharge rollers, in-line catilever roller assemblies, and complete wet or super dry roll assemblies.
Traditional and specially developed alloys are available for a wide variety of walking beam castings and support castings, such as stationary beams and saddles.
Alcon provides the largest galvanizing, gal-anneal and anneal operations around the world. Our centrifugal cast and fabricated radiant, double P type tube assemblies are available in both thin and heavy wall thicknesses.
To resist thermal fatigue and wear, our components are produced in all available alloys for slab reheat furnaces hearths.
Alcon manufactures both fabricated and cast pickle hooks. We can also refurbish your used hooks to more than double their service life and thereby maximize value.
Alcon advantages to the steel industry:
